Motivation to change the job

While interviewing the candidates, each time, without an exception, I ask a question about the candidate’s motivation for a possible job change.

The three most common answers given BEFORE THE PANDEMIC:

⭕️ Professional challenges/willingness to face a new industry or scope of responsibilities.
⭕️ Possibility of professional development / vertical promotion.
⭕️ The financial aspect.

The three most common answers that are given TODAY:

⭕️ Imbalance between work and private life/overwork, and in some cases burnout.
⭕️ Lack of flexibility of the employer in terms of choosing the work model: remote/hybrid work.
⭕️ Possibility of professional development / vertical or horizontal promotion.

The order of the motivators is not accidental and they speak for themselves.
