Tailor-made employee benefits

Dear employer, in a moment it may turn out that you are on the top of benefits or quite the opposite. This will happen thanks to Benefit Trendbook 2025, which was created by Pluxee Polska, examining the benefit expectations of employees.

What are employee benefits? It turns out that definitions can differ from each other. Let’s take the most popular benefit in 2024 according to the report – flexible working time.

This benefit was indicated by as many as 91% of employees throughout Poland. Interestingly, for 43% of them, flexible working time means a 4-day working week, and for the rest:
📍 a working day shorter by 2 hours,
📍 100% paid sick leave,
📍 additional days of leave, e.g. for a birthday,
📍 complete remote work,
📍 unlimited leave,
📍 workation.

The variety of definitions results from how benefits are perceived by employees. What is important is the goal that employees pursue in their lives, and even how happy they make them.

The definition of happiness will be different for everyone (as many as 59% of employees claim that benefits are not tailored to their needs). One person will be happy with a lunch card, thanks to which they will integrate with the team and free up time spent on preparing meals. Another will be happy with a sports card, which will allow them to pursue their swimming passion.

If I were to create a package especially for myself, I would add to the current one co-financing for the treatment of my four animals (the horses did not fit in the photo) 😊

A good benefits policy will be tailor-made, taking into account the interests of various employee groups. Meeting the needs of the entire organization will be difficult, but it is worth finding the golden mean – by asking employees questions and measuring the effectiveness of the implemented offer.
