Versatile leadership, and the power of peace, that is not there

Interview with: Jacek Santorski
Business Psychologist, Director at the Academy of Leadership Psychology

Comprehensive leadership, as well as the power of peace that does not exist, are the topics of my conversation with Jacek Santorski. It’s a conversation full of pictorial metaphors when we look at the reactions of leaders in crisis situations, discuss the pattern of tunnel perception, and are inspired by the Japanese martial art of Aikido.

“We know as much about ourselves as much as we have been checked,” said Wiesława Szymborska. These words can become the motto of the leaders of our time. We are all taking the leadership exam.

Jacek Santorski
The leader of tomorrow is able to integrate apparent opposites, so it means he has an open mind. Because the mind not fully open will say - either Yin or Yang, either black or white. An open mind will say Yin with a black dot and Yang with a white dot. The competence of tomorrow among others is to integrate those opposites that lead us to stay deeper with people. Because human is important and is the most important. And at the same time, we should not forget about the results, also from the perspective of tomorrow's competencies.
