How to effectively build a team?

Team building is not only the very idea of shaping positive bonds between employees, but also tools for this purpose. Although the end does not always justify the means, in this case it is worth reaching a little deeper into the purse. We have a whole range of possibilities at our disposal: integration events, trips or joint bonfires. However, they all seem to be fleeting and temporary. So how to maintain team integration in the long run?

It seems like a great idea to draw inspiration from hobbies that employees practice. Thanks to this, they will benefit from the release of endorphins, and moreover, they will get a topic to talk about for a long time. Monika Ciesielska emphasizes that although this form of integration requires more practice, it can bring excellent results.

Team building based on common interests is an even higher level of integration initiation. Let’s imagine a group of cyclists whose task is to get from point X to Y as quickly as possible. Of course, they have to complete a lot of tasks along the way, cross demanding terrain, in not the best weather conditions. They share a passion for cycling with motivation related to achieving a goal and winning a prize, even a symbolic one. The biggest reward in this competition are the relationships that are formed between the members of the cycling team.

Well-being is a direct, but certainly not the only factor supporting us in the fight against the overwhelming wave of professional burnout. Nevertheless, it is not possible to determine the one ideal activity that will best strengthen the relationship in our team. It all depends on the nature of the job. As well as the circumstances of integration, as well as the preferences of individual employees.
